Within the Updating Subscriber page the Groups are hidden by default. It's an extra step to unhide these for all Subscribers I go through. While it's one of my most updated fields on this page. So maybe save the option as default for all subscribers when toggling the hide/show button, or just keep it default shown.
Even with 20 groups it's not very large on my screen. No good reason to compact/hide it.
